About

Charlotte is a multimedia artist, with a background in painting, illustration, and now works in textile and fiber arts. Charlotte uses primarily recycled or secondhand materials due to her deep passion for environmental conservation, waste reduction, and her belief that everything can have another life (or two!) in it. Charlotte is inspired by the bright and bold moments in our everyday lives; using her visual storytelling to talk about deep, meaningful, and at times really difficult things through visually beautiful and colorful compositions. Charlotte upholds that making art out of recycled materials further encourages creativity, innovation, and challenges her to explore unconventional techniques and sustainable creative practices. Charlotte is also a co-founder of the Bmore Fabric Swap: Baltimore’s largest free event to encourage creatives to destash, restash, and connect through semi-annual material and resource swaps.
